AOK hospital stay?

Hey, I was admitted to the hospital for the first time this year

5 days in March

October 6 days

and currently for 14 days, discharge is not in sight at the moment

I always had to pay 10 € per night.

Now my question is what happens if I stay in the hospital for longer than 28 calendar days. (That's what will happen)

From 28 calendar days onwards I no longer pay 10€ per night?

I think it's quite a lot what I have to pay now, can something be done?

I always thought that if it was longer than 28 days in the calendar, you didn't pay for the previous stays.

I have not yet informed myself about AOK

It’s a lot… well, you’ll get something to eat and that’s what you’d have to do at home. Yeah, even if you don’t like it, but it’s costing alone. Think about what you’ll get and if you still say that 10€ would be a lot.

From the 29th day you won’t pay.

The 28 days count per calendar year. For the two previous stays, you’ve got receipts. And your health insurance also knows.

The 10 € applies to the budget saving. A hospital is not a hotel.
