Any tips for decluttering my computer?
I've had the problem of not having enough storage space on my computer for a while now. Well, I've somehow managed to free up 0 bytes of my 237 GB of storage space (hey, now for some reason it's changed to 2.2 MB, which isn't much better). I need to clean out my computer. I still have 257 GB free on drive D. What can I put on this drive (or rather, what would you do?)? Do you have any other tips for cleaning out the space?
Uninstall a few programs you don’t need. Then you’ve got a few hundred megabytes. Then you run and install the WizTree program https://diskanalyzer.com/ and get an overview of your hard drive. Then you can see where the amount of data is and can start moving from C: to D: So… only data/orders, no programs, program folders, system folders and other important things. I talk about video files, pictures files, music files, etc.
Here is an example with WizTree:
Does that mean something?
Yes: Click the time on the link I copyed you. The rest is revealed.
It’s free. If you like it, you can give the programmer an amount. Then he is happy and can improve his programs.
I did. I was just not sure because first stood 0 USD after 25
Unnecessary programs uninstall. Caches, delete temporary files, browser history, all photos and videos on external hard drive.
TreeSize to search for larger data volumes.
Otherwise, large files can be found in the recycle bin/downloads/desktop.
