Any cool/sensible idea?
Hello!
I removed the individual batteries from a Dyson vacuum cleaner battery pack that no longer works. Now I'm wondering what I can do with them. Ideally, it should be something cool or useful.
I know it's not easy to say what's cool about enemies, since everyone has a different definition, but I'm actually pretty open-minded.
A flashlight came to mind as a useful option, but it's not that special. It's "just" a flashlight… So other ideas are welcome.
Data:
5 batteries
4.0 – 4.1V each (measured with multimeter)
~ 7 × 2mm (7 long, 2 in diameter)
PS
I am an electrical engineer in my 3rd year of training
I would sell them. Some will certainly find functioning replacement Dyson batteries with possibly few charging cycles. And you’ll pay a little more.
They are expanded or Killed.
That means they were connected to a board.
that’s clear there’s no normal slot.
Since the odd formats are, these batteries are very expensive. Also needed you get a good price. You have to hold loets.
What is this battery technology? You want to recharge them.
I always collect battery remnants of all kinds to fully use them in the next Halloween:
I introduce: “Mr. Password-Cracker” xD
Therefore, he has the name that he gives such “digital” sounds (“ble-be-blo-ble…”), which comes from the fact that I have taken a flicker light LED tealight and an old loudspeaker as a pre-resistance for it and the LED generates the brightness levels by timing.
The picture is still the prototype of a few years ago, because I don’t have a current picture. It was later built in shcöner.
I had this thing crashed out of old crap and had Halloween again this year. xD
Something like that looks downstairs:
(voltage regulator can also be 5V and with resistance. I don’t get that thing back. Yesterday only dismantled and back in cabinet :D)
The two controllers also squeeze out a supposedly empty battery for a few days.
Take care.
I want to make something of it. Otherwise I wouldn’t have asked the question. 😒
I always build little night lights with this. Simply an LED with 1-5kOhm resistance. It then shines, depending on the, 6-12 months.
Even not a bad idea, but have no use for this…
Any ideas?
18650 batteries or the like?
Can they use it for an electrolysis building as a small experiment. Can collect the hydrogen in a balloon and then ignite 😉
😄 would be fun… Let’s see what else comes
