The connection has been painted over. What should I do?

Hello,

I moved about two weeks ago and ordered internet from Vodafone.

However, I just noticed that the connections have been heavily painted over.

Will the technician do this when he comes? Or can I somehow clean it myself?

This is a somewhat older can (from the 90s). There should be a can with ner “1”. Only with such a test is possible remotely. That is why the visit to the technicians is also announced.

For security reasons, contact the provider to point out that the can is overpainted and should be exchanged.

This TAE can be exchanged best. When a technician comes, he does. TAE-Dose always has a technician.

You can also exchange the can yourself. If you release the screw, you can remove the cover plate and the frame. The can itself is fastened in the wall either with screws or claws. The connections are numbered, you can’t do anything wrong if you clamp the individual wires to the same number.

Exchange is possible, but in this case, a can with a conclusion should also be installed, and you don’t usually get it in the construction market.

Depending on the network operator, ask in the Telekom or Vodafone Shop. Usually the can is pressed into the hand with the PPA. The has usually an LSA-Plus connection, but a simple placement tool and a lead are included.

Hello,

have you ordered a DSL port? Then a technician comes from us & will certainly exchange that.

Why aren’t you right with us?

Best regards Sven W.

It doesn’t matter. You’ll get another can.
