Purchase inspection for car?

Can you do a pre-purchase inspection at the TÜV before deciding on a car? It's your own expense, of course, but is there a way to do this without the owner running the risk of failing and then having to present the car again in four weeks? Stupid question, but I hope you get what I mean. Thanks in advance.

Would never buy a used person without an investigation report from TÜV, DEKRA or the like. The seller shall bear the costs. With reputable dealers this is almost usual and you will also get a certain time used car warranty

, this is your personal attitude. No seller must pay the costs and no seller must give a used car guarantee.

Each inspection organization will be happy to provide you with a value and status review at your expense. Costs around 75,- to 100,- Euro. The holder has nothing to fear. It’s not a major investigation.

All technical monitoring associations offer this. But you have to pay it.
