Angst vor Tampon?
Hallo, ich bin 18 Jahre alt und habe seitdem ich 10 bin meine Periode da meine Eltern damals immer meinten Tampons wären gefährlich, habe ich diese noch nie ausprobiert und ich habe tatsächlich auch Angst wegen den TSS (toxisches Schock Syndrom) kann man jemand sagen, wie wahrscheinlich das ist und wenn ich es bekommen würde, ob man das heilen könnte? Denn ich müsste eigentlich heute den ganzen Tag draußen sein und da habe ich kaum Chancen etwas zu wechseln

the risk for tss is quite small but you cannot underestimate it!
I also use almost always bind only when my days are very strong or I can no longer change both together but you should never leave a tampon longer than 6h of my opinion (manufacturers say until 10h) inside.

I’ve never heard of such a syndrome.
I had tampons in for hours. Just at night. There’s never something negative happened!
If you move outside during the day, you will notice when the tampon is full: then it will be back. Apply the best clip inserts and find the next toilet. Then change.
Don’t worry about tampons. Your parents told you something wrong.

You don’t have to be afraid of the TSS, but look at the following things:
-Tampon never wear longer than 7 hours
– Before and after inserting thoroughly wash your hands
– Avoid highly absorbent tampons
This toxic shock is obtained if you are so malignant to leave the tampon inside for several days. What you should definitely not do. Switch daily to multiple times daily, best every time you go to the toilet.
