I’d just call what’s really broken. For components that the TÜV still lets through, I would say no.

If I know the person, I’d say. If I don’t know the person, I’d say so. If the person is rude, I wouldn’t say. 😀

The dealer may also retain the defects if he finds them. :

The dealer should have enough experience to recognize the defects themselves.
