Angelogen: Was soll ich tun?
Ich (15F) haben eine Freundin (16F), die ich Bella nennen werde. Ich kenne sie erst seit ein paar Monaten, weil sie neu in meiner Freundesgruppe ist. Vor einer Woche haben wir zufällig über die Olympischen Spiele gesprochen und sie hat uns erzählt, dass ihr Vater ein Sportler war und einmal die Olympischen Spiele gewonnen hatte. Wir waren überrascht, aber glaubten ihr. Alles war in Ordnung, bis eine Freundin von mir im Internet nach Bellas Vater suchte und nur Beweise dafür fand, dass er an den Olympischen Spielen teilgenommen hat, aber nie gewonnen hat. Er erreichte den 25. Platz. Wir sind uns nicht sicher, wie wir sie fragen können, warum sie uns angelogen hat. Was soll ich tun?

Don’t talk about lying, but about what you found out. Ask her why there is something different in several sources than she said!
Maybe she wanted to impress you and didn’t think anything bad about it.
If it doesn’t leave you alone and you want it exactly why she lied to you, then it would best be best to look for the conversation, quite objectively and without accusations.
I’d just ask (as easy as possible). With you girls, that’s always a bit more complicated, but if that’s important to you, you can ask them about their father by the way or you let it be and forget it, your choice.
simply so leave her not bring her into an unpleasant situation (everyone lies at such small things)

If it doesn’t happen more often and takes malicious, harmful trains, I’d stop it.
