"Make an offer" on eBay Classifieds. What does that mean?

I want to buy something on eBay and can only click the "Make Offer" button and then enter the amount. I haven't even specified any payment methods yet, and the "Make Offer" page doesn't ask for a payment method. Can someone explain how to do this? Thanks in advance.

  • The platform has only been called Classifieds and has eBay nothing (more) to do.
  • If you make an offer and the seller accepts it, then it comes a legally valid purchase agreement after em BGB (offer and acceptance), which is then binding on both sides.
  • After acceptance, you will find the payment methods offered by the seller and then you can choose one of them.

You tell the seller how much you’re ready to pay.

Hi, you’re practically giving offer only to make your offer what the seller has to accept. Only then can you deposit the money.

Exactly when the seller confirms you will be displayed as a chef after what paths zb transfer, Klarna etc. You can pay the article.

However, you can already inform the payment option at the offer. This is above the field amount. Look again.

An offer is an offer and no purchase… don’t understand what to be complicated.
