To the vegans?

How did you manage to become vegan?

How long have you been vegan?

What do you think of the militant vegan?

I am not vegan myself because I simply cannot manage to live without animal products. I know there are many alternatives but I cannot manage it. So respect to every vegan.

Hello, that was a long process with me. I haven’t eaten meat for about 15 years. For a long time, however, I’ve eaten fish because I’ve been talking about the fact that sea fish at least spends his life in freedom and makes it a little better. Three years ago, I left all the dairy products away, but still ate a year of fish. I’ve been Vegan for two years.

Before that I have always thought I have respect for all vegan living people but I could not do that, especially because I couldn’t imagine giving up fish as a protein supplier, even though it was clear to me that it is ethically not a difference to meat.

Then two things were decisive: A twitch streamer I regularly watch has become vegan and I thought if he does, then I can do that. I also saw the movie “The Game Changers”. Some of the film is scientifically critical and generally I do not think of “health veganism”. I’m vegan for the animals and not because I think it’s the healthiest. But it showed me that even high-performance athletes can live vegan without any problems.

Basically, it was pretty easy after the decision was taken. However, I am lucky not to have food allergies. My main protein source is soy now, I think that’s better than his reputation. The soya in Tofu or other products is grown mainly in Europe and the fear that some people have in front of the phytoestrogens is quite exaggerated.

Of course, however, there are also enough vegetable protein sources for people who do not use soy.

As an adult living alone, it is easy to live vegan today in everyday life. It becomes more difficult in social events, as Devoid8 has already written. Then it takes a little more willpower to go through. If I can somehow avoid it, I don’t even want to sit at a table on the other animal welfare products. Can others call “extreme”, I call it consistent.

I don’t think much about the “military vegan” in person. Your “Holzhammer Activism” seems to reach many people and bring them to thinking as often as it is asked about here. Perhaps, however, their kind is often more counterproductive. In addition, it has been open to the right and has been noticed by transfiguring and other problematic statements.

I would recommend the “Artmates” instead:

Veganism is a lifestyle, not a diet.

Vegans dispense with animal quality products.

I’m also despising my animals. First of all, I have no time for it and secondly I am interested in my animals being suspicious and increasing well.

The vegans also have their definition: “Development of animal-free alternatives…”

However, they have not yet finished offering a animal-free alternative to the pollination performance of bees in fruit farming.

That’s why we need to use honey bees. Then there are also a lot of vegan fruit and herbs, because many plants depend on pollination. In return we can harvest the excess honey.

“Animal-free alternatives to the benefits of animals, humans and the environment.”

The riding and carriage horses were displaced by the petrol engine. That’s not good for the environment. On the contrary. The burning of fossil fuels is the cause of climate change. Not how wrongly spread by vegans, animal husbandry.

I find the Raffaela good because if necessary she would kill an animal and eat meat.

And some sit in front of their plate and cannot eat for depressive reasons.(You should go to the doctor)

But if they pretend veganism, they are even praised.

And the movie Dominion:

“Veganism is a philosophy and way of life,as far as possible and practically feasibleall forms the Exploitation and Atrocities to avoid animals for food, clothing or other purposes and to promote the development and use of animal-free alternatives to the advantage of animals, humans and the environment. In the diet, this means waiving all products wholly or partly derived from animals. ‘

– The Vegan Society[7]

All forms of exploitation … to avoid animals for other purposes. … animal-free alternatives…

If a vegan uses the horror movie Dominion for animation to buy vegan products/small on animal products, he is not a vegan. Since Disney’s Donald Duck, animal-free alternatives are also available.

It’s a philosophy, not a diet.

Hey!

What’s wrong with you?

I actually didn’t think it was hard to get vegan. At least not to do the first step of buying nothing more animal, neither at home, nor on the way. Sure, there were products I liked very much. Cheese especially, also salami. But I have the documentation dominione and also researched beyond. I quickly realized what happened is so cruel that my desire for it is simply meaningless.

It was harder to have a clear attitude in front of others, and to deny Grandmas Christmas pastries, the noodle salad at the company’s party and the pizza during the spontaneous family visit.
First I thought: isn’t that bad, it was already bought. It is precisely DA that it is important to adopt a consistent attitude. Otherwise, you could hardly take my vegan decision seriously if I were to get rid of animal quality products.

You just have to use some courage to reject at such moments. It is very important to do so and you are absolutely right to do so. A vegan group of friends, even if it’s only online, naturally helps:)

__________

I’ve been vegan for a year. To find out how cruelly cruel animals are treated in the animal industry, I was very shocked. I found my way to activism very quickly. I’m doing things like the militant vegan, just in respectful and constructive. That should also answer your last question…

The changeover was easy, there are more alternatives today than ever.

Several years.

Nothing.

Look at some docus about the production of milk, meat etc.

My husband and I have been vegan for two years. Years ago vegetarian.

I meanwhile really am ashamed that I once felt the vegetarian way of life for “animal lover”.

There is no reason to be ashamed of you:

It’s never too early, and never too late to change something in life – everyone goes his way, and every step counts!

All good for you…;)
