Among Us LAN works fine, but Wi-Fi is unplayable?
I have the following problem: I can connect to the Among Us servers via LAN without any problems, but when connected via Wi-Fi, I get kicked after about five seconds. This problem occurs on all devices and unfortunately, regardless of the account used, so it's likely due to my internet settings.
Does anyone have any idea which provider settings might be responsible for this? I can't seem to navigate through the multitude of settings and can't quite make sense of the terms.
The problem only occurs with Among Us and is therefore not due to the device or the connection performance. In theory, it must be due to a setting that is currently unknown to me.
I also activated a MAC filter, but turning it off does not solve the problem.
Yes – and that’s wondering why?
No one – your internet provider has no idea.
You use locally unstable connections (radio) for data transmission.
That’s all.
I forgot to mention that it had worked a few months ago.
The Among Us has massive problems, I didn’t miss.
I tested in a public Wi-Fi whether I’m getting fucked there. This is not the case and is therefore without a doubt at a setting of the router or at my location, as the same problem also arises via my independent internet contract of another provider. In addition, most are in a lobby in a Wi-Fi and can play without any problems.
Until now, I thought it was about WLAN problems.
This has nothing to do with it.
Some of you want to ask. Maybe we’ll keep looking.
Clearly it’s about WLAN problems, at which point does not Ging concern this problem?
