Amazon Wrong age?

I wanted to verify my Amazon account because my age wasn't accepted. I'll be 18 soon, but I thought I could order at 16. To test it, I stated I was born in 2006 (actually 2007). I can't change that now. I still have credit on my account and wanted to buy screws for the motherboard. I was able to order, but canceled to be on the safe side. I thought I'd have to show ID and didn't expect my age to be automatically transferred. Could this cause problems?

Yes, it can lead to problems – it is logical.
Rules, terms and conditions and laws are not for fun!
When they catch you, you get locked – and that’s right.

There are always questions from crying, minors who have been caught and locked up and – until further notice – no longer get to their money.

Just by the way: a false account with a fake date of birth to pretend that you were full-year, although you are underage, that isData falsificationandIdentity fraud=>Crimein accordance with §269 StGB.
Read it.http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__269.html

Hasn’t happened to me yet that Amazon has filed criminal complaints in such cases, but nevertheless you should realize that this is a serious violation.
For other online providers, e.g. PayPal, Klarna,… underage data counterfeiters have to face more severe consequences.

This falls under the criminal offence fraud.

There are also prison sentences.

This is even serious fraud.

I’ll say you’d be less punished for theft. So you can better classify the severity of your crime.

If that’s up and there’s still unusual behavior in your account, you’ll be able to commit other crimes. Appearance of services e.g.

You can be condemned. To a fine, social hours, prison (if you have enriched yourself in any form or you have used personal data from other people when registering. Z.B. from your parents)

In any case, this will remain in your file. If you commit a crime later in life, the content of your file will have a negative impact on the judgment.

If you have money there, it can happen that it’s suddenly fussy. That’s something young has already happened.

WBS once made a video on the subject.

Look, there are so many old accounts at Amazon, which was created shortly after the turn of the millennium. At that time, you were not willing to mention your date of birth anywhere on the Internet. I’ll tell who you’re going to pay your orders.
