Amazon blocks account for no reason?

Hello

I have a question. My wife's Amazon account was blocked for no reason because there were apparently outstanding payments on another Amazon account (but there's only one). I've already spoken to them and they want to forward it to the responsible department and they'll get back to you after two working days. However, I don't believe that, because my wife wanted to order something (worth around €170) using Amazon credit. She was able to place the order, but after a few seconds it was canceled and she received an email saying that the order had been canceled because they couldn't confirm that the account belonged to her.

What else can you do?

And as I said, there is no other Amazon account and absolutely no outstanding debts, as payments are always made with Amazon credit.

Normally, Amazon offers in case of doubt about who the account belongs the opportunity to provide evidence to get back the account. Electricity bill or the like.

Is there another outstanding demand or not?

The combination of doubts about identity + pending demand can be sufficient as a reason for Amazon.

Wait, Amazon will check this and will explain it if something is present
