Amazon package not there?
Hello
I ordered something from Amazon. It should arrive today. I even paid extra because it's a birthday present and I wanted it as soon as possible. I just checked the order status, and it says it was dropped in the mailbox. I went to check, and there was no package anywhere. Well, at first I thought, okay, maybe someone took it, even though that's never happened in my neighborhood before. Then I looked down the street, or rather, the cul-de-sac where I live, and there was an e-scooter parked in the middle of the path, meaning a car couldn't have gotten in without moving it. Besides, it's so quiet here that you can always hear a car in the cul-de-sac. Now I'm wondering, could the delivery person just assume the package was already delivered without actually being there? Should I maybe wait another hour before contacting customer service? (Amazon ships it itself)
It has happened to me more often that the order status has been displayed, although the package actually only comes within the next hour, the drivers sometimes do. If the package isn’t here in an hour, I would contact the Amazon Support. They are very cunning and will refund your money or send a replacement (provided delivery of Amazon).
Thank you:)
Did you check out other potential locations? We often find something different from where the package is behind. In front of the door? Behind the garbage can? On the terrace? Etc…
yes I have there really no place anymore where it could be
Is there the same address nearby again?
I already know the family the 2 places further in the same street with the same number but slightly different postal code lives to pick up from the mutual parcels.
the only one would be that the postbot confused the sackgasse and he delivered the package to the same house number one road further. that’s not happening in 6 years
