Amazon supplier wanted my password?
I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro, and on the day of delivery, the delivery man called me and asked if I was home. He said he'd need my password for another half hour, but he hadn't arrived yet. I didn't give him my password because he hadn't arrived yet. I waited at home for a while, but he never arrived. I got a notification that he was trying to get there, but he couldn't find anyone at home.
Should I be worried about someone like that? Did he want to steal my phone?
hopefully he will come back tomorrow
It is NOT about the password you need for registration on Amazon or in the app, but about an IMMALPASSWORT, which you get when ordering high-quality goods from Amazon and then have to name when handing over.
So the whole thing is normal and has nothing to do with data theft.
If you have not received a one-time password, you will not get the phone.
You have to contact Amazon.

I’m glad you didn’t give it to him over the phone. Amazon expressly warns against doing this. Yeah, I think he wanted to steal your phone.
How’s that going?
Amazon now uses a one-time password for high-price deliveries, which is delivered to the customer by mail and SMS a few hours before delivery. If the driver does not have the one-time password, he must not give the package out.
If the driver gets the one-time password in advance, he can leave the package and the customer has the burden of proof, since the driver had the password.
The password transmitted by Amazon is not indicated to the messenger until the goods are handed over.
Fraud Amazon will report then the dealer will be locked for life
What dealer? He’s not a subject here.
Buying a mobile phone needs
Amazon no password
I was young too. Amazon had to react slowly after massively reported that expensive items were missing in the package.
It’s just that. All that is expensive and desirable, the receiver only gets with the one-time PIN.
Have you made an order of 2500 € on Amazon?
Yes, with expensive devices already.
