Amazon account blocked?

Hello, I have the following problem.

I created a new account on Amazon and it was my very first account because I wanted to order something for my daughter's birthday.

So I went to the gas station and bought vouchers worth 75€, which I redeemed and placed my order.

Immediately after that my account was blocked for whatever reason.
I have been calling since Friday and nothing has happened. I am told the same thing every time,

that my account will be unlocked again the next day.

Can you sue them for this?
what about my money?
what's up with the damn account? I'm furious and just want the presents!
Does Amazon always do this?

Moin,

I’m sorry to hear that you have these problems with your Amazon account and that you feel so frustrated. It’s understandable that you’re worried about your money and your order being in silence.

First of all, it is important to stay calm and be patient while you try to solve the problem. As a rule, such barriers have a reason, even if it is not obvious.

Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Further contact the Amazon Customer Service: Even if it is frustrating, stay on and keep contacting the customer service. Please provide a detailed explanation for blocking your account and ask for a solution.
  2. Check your communication: Make sure you speak quietly and respectfully with the customer service staff. Clear communication can help solve the problem faster.
  3. Check the possibility of repayment: If your account is blocked and you do not have a solution in sight, you should consider asking for a refund for the purchased vouchers. Amazon could be able to refund the amount to the account from which the vouchers were purchased.
  4. Check legal steps: If you feel that Amazon is unlawful or mistreating you, you might consider taking legal action. However, this should be a last resort after you have exhausted all the other options and have not found a solution.

It is important to note that Amazon serves millions of customers worldwide, and while most transactions run smoothly, in some cases there may be problems. It is probably not typical of Amazon to arbitrarily block customer accounts, but in some cases security measures can cause accounts to be temporarily blocked to minimize potential risks.

I hope your problem will be solved soon and you will receive your order for your daughter on time for your birthday.

Why don’t you just call Amazon, I’ve rarely experienced such a courtesy service and actually always got an immediate satisfactory solution.

I can only confirm that. A rarity with a big corporation.

Does the Amazon always do that?

It’s just people who are acting weird. So, for example, those who buy a voucher as a full-year-old who want to redeem and then pay with it instead of depositing their bank account and leaving it debited like any normal person.

I personally made hundreds of purchases at Amazon and never had a problem.

Deposit your bank account and possibly a credit card. Probably you will be released immediately and can pay with the vouchers.

they just want to make sure you’re over 18. That’s all.

They seem a little strange, they don’t trust you as much as they do.

Just call or go back to support. Why are you out of support if your problem is not solved yet??
