Amazon asks me to return the goods myself?
Hello, following question.
I ordered tires from Amazon, but returned them.
Here's the problem: Amazon hired a shipping company that was supposed to get back to me. I received labels and was supposed to get back to me. This never happened. When I called Amazon, they placed the order a second time, and the same thing happened again; no one answered. I called again today, and Amazon is currently unable to pick up the tires. They want me to return the tires at my own expense and then get the shipping costs refunded. They're supposed to give me a voucher as compensation for my trouble.
But I'm not willing to ship these tires because I don't know when, how, where and because that's not what it was intended to be.
Can I object and request a pickup? Or do I have to do it now?
I don’t think you’ll be left to make it yourself, you have to understand Amazon a company with a market capitalization of just $1,800,000 must also look where it stays, but anyway there’s a voucher is something.
Just do it! Amazon has told you that you will receive the costs! Even a voucher as compensation for your effort has been offered to you!
So what’s this herald? Go to the net, get some speditions and go! What’s so difficult about it?
You can resist if you want this to go unnecessarily. In addition, I also don’t know if Amazon plays with it (Let’s make the right thing out here)
For my part, I would advise you to go to Amazon’s proposal.
Legally, the seller (if not pointed out that it is different) must pay the transport or take over the costs.
However, the seller is not obliged to organize the transport. This is only often common practice.
But that should not be a problem either. Either some spedition near or over DPD, UPS, and check if they do.
Depending on what was agreed…
Regardless of a value limit, the law now states that the costs of returning theBuyerswear. However, the seller must have informed him of it in time before the conclusion of the contract. If this notice is missing, he must also refund the costs of the return
You have to order a forwarding on your side. If you’re not willing to do this, you’ll be amazon and they’ll have to try again.
What do you think the Amazon must do? Amazon must carry the cost but nowhere is specified that you need to organize the transport.
