Am I drinking too much?
Hello, I'm 16 years old, 5'8" tall, and weigh 130 pounds. I've been drinking 3-3.5 liters of water every day for a while now (I've been doing this for about two years). I drink a 700ml bottle of it right after I get up in the morning. I don't do it because I'm thirsty, but as a preventative measure, because drinking plenty of fluids is healthy. I've heard that it flushes out minerals. Is this true, and does it have any negative or unhealthy effects on my body or even my physical development? I actually eat a very balanced diet.
Something too much – you can also look here in my old post.
Thanks for the answer and very interesting contribution. But I have another question. If you leave a lot of minerals vitamins and co, then there will be symptoms of deficiency and if so, how do I notice this in my case. Because I’m physically really well, just that my skin has become more dry and my chair has become much softer since I drink so much. Can this be related?
Can also hang with the kidneys by excreting too much water.
I can’t imagine it could hurt you. Definitely flushes the kidneys.
Hello, Theo3101kkk.
The more you drink, the more your kidneys rinse.
That’s why you should screw a liter down, that’s all right.
Greetings, Renate.
