Am I an alcoholic?

Am I an alcoholic

Hello everyone, I drink 5/6 of these cans a day after work. I'm a trainee (bricklayer) and I drink (see picture). I'm 21. It's like an addiction. I haven't drunk any water for 3 days.

If you drink 5-6 cans of beer every day, you will definitely fall under the definition of alcoholism. Talk to your pediatrician about it, there you get the further support for physical and mental withdrawal!

aalbtraum, UserMod Light

Alcoholics are required to meet the medical criteria necessary for diagnosis. However, this can only be diagnosed by professionals. Strangers from the Internet usually lack the necessary qualifications. In the following linked article, it is explained in a simplified manner what matters.

→ Alcoholism , https://www.kenn-dein-limit.de/alcohol consumption/alcoholism/

Critically, I would classify your consumption like that. The amounts of alcohol lead to damage sooner or later. I advise you to talk to professionals about your consumption once. This can be your pediatrician, but also a consultancy.

Good luck!

Yes, you are with the amount of cans per day. I once knew someone who started the same way, it became more and more, finally he bought beer cans. All this went about 5 years, then was over relatively quickly (liver cirosis).

Liver cirrhosis is not the only problem, you can also die if you drink too much.

Absolutely correct, I've only referred to my former acquaintance.

He hasn't been alive for a long time, the liver cirrhosis was the end.

What stage is your acquaintance? If he wants to live dry, the liver cirrhosis is curable. If he wants to drink, then every attempt is useless.

I don't know if you're addicted. Probably you are on the way there if you are not already. Find help, urgently.

Call a search counselor or go to the doctor's office.

Trying to drink absolutely no beer or other alcohol for two days, then you definitely know if you're 'addicted' in the rural sense.

In order to be regarded as 'dependent' (addictive), certain conditions must be met simultaneously. What conditions these are can be read in Wikipedia under 'dependence of psychotropic substances'.

Do you want to reconsider your answer?

Your expert title, which the FS can see, could cause him not to worry if he is an alcoholic if he can give up alcohol for two days.

Someone who doesn't have this test doesn't worry about whether he's addicted to alcohol, he might worry about if he's still experiencing the next day.

If someone seriously wants to dispense with alcohol for two days, and does not, despite real effort, then probably a mirror drinker who can only infiltrate the first swallow of alcohol with violence, all the others create this test loosely.

It is completely unimportant how long someone can give up alcohol, what influence alcohol has on his life when he drinks.

There are people who drink a lot, but never depend, never lose their driver's license, never come too late to work, live in an intact relationship.

Then there are the quarter-strinkers, who may only drink twice a year, but then lose any control over their lives.

Package reviews according to the motto:

If you can, you're not an alcohol addict, you have no value.

The questioner was about to know whether: he's an alcoholic. It wasn't about a classification into quarterly buzzers, mirror drinkers, coma drinkers or in 'occasually inconspicuous alcohol consumers'.

It is likely that due to your own experience, you have accumulated an above-average knowledge of alcoholism, which, however, does not prevent you from being aware that classical physical withdrawal symptoms after 2 days of abstinence are still the best evidence of alcohol-related dependence with physical effects.

That would be whether: ' the original question.
After that he can – if he can like you – the ' How ' and possibly also ' Why? dedicate.

That's not good. I would greatly reduce it. Drink if only on Fridays or so 1 or two cans enjoyable. Otherwise, please water that is important. Otherwise you'll slip.

An alcoholic CAN not reduce if only for a short time. Reduce is self-destructive.Because you prove yourself with the few days, everything is good, then it goes on. Please don't recommend that.

If this behavior already goes over a longer period and on days when you do not consume alcohol in rough quantities you have an urge for more, then you are on every fan at the beginning of an addiction. Keep in mind that consumption does not rise sneakily, then you are even more likely to seek.

Search criteria build up as follows:

  1. strong desire
  2. Crown roll loss
  3. Development of tolerance
  4. withdrawal certificate
  5. Reliability of social interests
  6. Despite negative consequences of further consumption

If more than two points are present with you, then you're addicted and you need to do a therapy immediately so you don't get under the wheels.

No water and only beer can of course not be healthy…

Try to reduce to 1 beer in the evening and drink enough water.

Good

You are on the best way

Just leave the alcohol for a week.

Depending on how easy or hard it falls to you, you know where you stand.

If you don't think it's easy, you should leave your fingers. Later it becomes more and more difficult. Life as an alcoholic is absolutely corrosive. Not just for you, also for your environment.

I'm a nurse, but for the tip I have, you really don't need medical training:

If you want to find out if it's an addiction, stop doing it. Complete.
If you don't stop it, it's an addiction. In that case, you don't have to do this by hard withdrawal. If you don't stop it, you'll drink your beer so you'll be better and go to the family doctor.

Whether you're alcohol addicted, you can't say about the amount of drinking.

The question is, what does it do to you if you just drink, indefinitely, no beer after dinner?

Can you just drink two cans?

What do you drink when you have weekends?

I'm an alcoholic, but I couldn't drink alcohol for half a year. When I started it again, I couldn't say that I went to the pub and only drank three beers, it was more and more, and it didn't matter if I had to work next day.

Whether you're already dependent, or not, if you keep doing so, you'll get it sooner or later.

One who understood it. What surprises me that no one has already attacked you because of the statement.

6 Half are alcoholism. It's just that you haven't been drinking water for 3 days. You're sneaking into a fatal addiction.

Then leave it for a while, and you will notice if you have a desire for it.

Men are recommended to take no more than 24 ml of rA (Millilite pure alcohol) per day.

You drink 144 ml of rA a day.

SirAndiusNr2

I don't know, no one can say that right here from the distance and the information.

The amount and lifestyle is more than worrying, it is already critical.

Since you ask this question and still don't get away from the alcohol, it doesn't make better either.

If no addiction exists so far, you are at least acutely endangered. That's why you should go to your family doctor next week.

Hello!

There are two questions to test if you're an alcoholic. Firstly, is it true that you cannot stop drinking completely? If this is true, you have the spiritual obsession. Secondly, do you have no right control over the amount you drink? If this happens, you have the physical allergy. If you can answer these two questions, then you're probably alcoholic.
