Always the same plane?

Hello folks.

I have just looked at the departures and arrivals at Dresden Airport, and I noticed that for example with Ryanair and Eurowings, which fly to/from Mallorca every day, it is always like this:

Departure from Dresden to Mallorca

Arrival in Dresden from Mallorca

Departure from Dresden to Mallorca

Arrival in Dresden from Mallorca

Departure from Dresden to Mallorca

Arrival in Dresden from Mallorca.

This means that the next plane on the route will not fly until the other one is back.

Does that mean that only one plane flies back and forth the whole time with Ryanair or Eurowings?

I hope you understand me😂

This is often the case, especially on short distance. You will then fly DRa-PMI-DRS-PMI-DRS as a pilot, for example. Then you’re free for a few days and then you’re in the way. Ggf on another route, maybe not so many but longer flights, you can be used from your stationing airport for everything that is done with your aircraft type

Yes, most of all this is just like the bus that drives the same line back and forth all day.
