Always log in to Steam at the beginning?

Hi!
Whenever I boot up my PC, Steam always opens automatically. I don't want that, and I don't want to keep typing in the password. I just want to play AOE 2 Definitive Edition 😀

Thanks! 🙂

When I hit my PC, Steam will always open. I don’t want

You can easily disable Steam’s auto start, e.g. in Task Manager, System Preferences or directly in Steam settings

and does not always want to enter the password.

And I always get an email with a code that I must always enter! How cumbersome!

If you keep the hook active, you shouldn’t have to log in next time unless you log out explicitly.

Since you speak of “Code aus der Mail”: You should put on the Steam Guard for the second factor. One advantage of this is that you can log in directly through the QR code when you scan it via Steam app – without entering login name, password and 2FA code

Just want to play AOE 2 Definitve Edition 😀

If the game requires Steam, but Steam must run to play it

I understand your frustration very much that you don’t want it. You don’t have to let everything down at your age. You’ve got your car start and activated. I’d be happy to help you disable this log in window when you upload your computer. Because it works with me. I’ll show you in real time from my DELLS computer how to disable it. Unfortunately, this is so common on Steam.

Step1: Click right on the blue tile.

Step2: Click Apps and find Autostart.

Step3: Disable autostart and services. You should be Steam.

Step4. Restart PC or computer. Because it’s weird to me.

Hi, that Steam should not be opened at PC Start, you can manage the system settings under Start Apps/ Autostart, remove the hook from Steam.

As far as login is concerned, you can stay logged on to your device.

Alternatively, you can link your Steam profile to your phone number and then log in via the Steam app using QR code. Is much more comfortable than getting the code by email.

This is this 2FA authentication.

Good night.
