You can. You definitely need: new shift lever, new gear, cassette, new chain.

Possibly: New rear wheel if the current freewheel body is not suitable for 11/12 times. And possibly new chainring in front if none of the available has the desired number of teeth.

Such a conversion makes no sense, it only generates costs but little to no use at all. In addition to new shift levers, new shift mechanism, cassette, new chain you also need a new freewheel body and possibly a new rear wheel if the freewheel body for 1 compartment does not fit into your impeller.

If you build a Sram NX 1×11 compartment circuit, you can keep the old Shimano freewheel body, as the cassette still fits from the width.

I also stood before the decision to install a 1×12 compartment circuit on my MTB with 2 x10 circuit, have left everything so since I see no advantages except for the missing shift lever for the thrower.

What is that? At the Corratec you have at least 13 courses, as you can check here:

So more than you would have after the rebuild.

And you’re sure you need a new rear wheel hub because you don’t get the longer 11/12-fold cassettes on your freewheel body. You want to unscrew the superfluous chainrings? If you have to go, you might just need a few shorter chainring screws, but I don’t know if that looks so great. Cassette, chain and shift levers will definitely be added. These large cassettes are expensive, the shift levers too. I’m not sure about the gear. But if Robert thinks you need a new one, it’ll be like that.

What did you win with the reconstruction? Switching will be easier, you may be a little careless, and a few grams less weight. You lost at least 200 euros and two to three courses.

You can take up to 10 times any Shimano circuit. From 11 times, Shimano has apparently changed the translations, so that even road and MTB components can no longer be combined as desired.

You can do it, everything is possible. Whether it makes financial sense is on another sheet. Matching components will surely find enough manufacturers on the market if Shimano or SRAM has or offers the right thing for you.
