Altered perception?
Hello, I have a quick question. About five months ago, I quit cannabis. Before that, I was a regular user for about four years, and for the last one and a half years, I smoked almost exclusively from a bong. About two weeks after quitting, my perceptions began to change: I see colors and objects more intensely; sometimes it feels like I'm looking at the world through a film.
At first, I thought it was derealization, as a friend of mine suffers from it. The strange thing is that caffeine affects my symptoms, while nicotine and alcohol don't. My friend explained to me that for him, alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine significantly worsen his symptoms. For me, however, nicotine has no effect, and alcohol actually has the opposite effect: If I party and drink alcohol on the weekend, my symptoms disappear for about three days and then reappear. Can anyone help me or explain what exactly I might have?

The fact is, the stuff did something with you.
You should talk to your pediatrician, he can refer you to a professional, or to a specialist.
Yeah, I was there. The doctor said that my brain needs time to recover and basically wanted to prescribe benzodiazepine to just put me on another drug.
Go away sometime when it’s a depersonalization disorder
