Install old SSD with Windows 10 into new PC with Windows 11 to save data?

I bought a new PC because my old one wouldn't boot anymore and was already quite old. The SSD had Windows 10 installed, which is an older system, and it also contained photos of my family and other important data that I wanted to save. Is it safe to install the old SSD in the new Windows 11 PC, or would that damage something?

Thanks in advance!

Jein. Basically, it should be. But there are many system data on it that you may not be able to delete even though they are inactive.

If available, I would put the hard drive in a frame and read it via USB. Internal hard drives can be complicated, but maybe it works.

If installation, then data interlock, format hard drive and then play back again.

Can you do as long as you start the WIN11 partition.
Your old SSD would appear as a normal drive and you can save all data.
