Hello, I've been smoking cigarettes for a few years now and would like to try smoking a pipe. I still have a few ancient pipes from my grandfather at home, but I don't want to damage them or reduce their quality. Are there any things I should keep in mind, or is the process the same as in any other YouTube video?

Does smoking cigarettes really have such negative effects on human health as is so often portrayed in the media? If so, why do so many people still do it?
Sometimes there's one (or more) long hair in the tobacco pouch. Honestly, at least every second pouch has such (apparently human) hairs in it. It's annoying!! Have you ever experienced this? Or generally discovered things in your tobacco pouch that don't belong there?
A greenish cleaning and disinfection are plumbing, if necessary, even professional work-up is necessary.
