Habe am PC das «C» auf einer 1T SSD und das «D» auf einer 2T HDD.

Am Mainboard sind Platz für 2 x SSD M.2. eine ist also noch frei.

Wie vorgehen, wenn ich nun 2 x 2T SSD M.2 am Mainboard anbringen möchte.

Also ist es möglich, jetzt eine neue 2T SSD anzubringen und dass «C» darauf zu legen?

Danach dann die 1T «C» auch durch ein 2T zu ersetzen?

Die HDD weiterhin als Speicherplatz benutzen.

Hoffe einer Blickt durch was ich möchte, danke.

If you have both SSDs built in, you can boot a clone program such as Clonezilla from USB Stick and clone your first SSD completely.

Careful!

This will naturally make all partitions 1:1 as on the first SSD, so your windows partition will still have only 1TB. However, you can enlarge the partition after cloning so that it also takes the complete free space.

The C: is not a drive, but a partition of Windows that is created automatically as the system is located here.

Just so Copy & Paste won’t go.

I wouldn’t recommend playing a system image of an HDD on an SSD.

What’s up? Reinstall Windows.

You can assign each drive or partition to each letter in the disk management, but each letter can only be used once
