Allianz insurance for my child?

I want to insure my new car, and I just used the Allianz calculator to calculate the fully comprehensive insurance and how much I'd have to pay. I also added a second driver, my child, who just got his driver's license. The final cost was €1,600 per year. When I tried it out for fun with my son as a single driver, it came to €3,900.
So my question is whether the 1600 euros for which I have listed my son as the second driver is also insured or whether I will end up paying more on top of that because I also want to insure him on the car.

Use a comparison portal like check24 and verivox, go to the page of the HUK24 and compare it. Allianz is one of the more expensive alternatives.
