"Everything" in the yellow bag?

Hey people,

It is well known that not everything that goes into the yellow bag is recycled, but some is simply treated as garbage.

So, my question is, does everything that's allowed go into your yellow recycling bag? I've often just thrown some things in the general waste bin, assuming they wouldn't be recycled anyway. How do you do that?

I’ve got something inside.

I often see sacks standing around here where real junk – household appliances to food waste – was in there that were NOT picked up!!!!

The MÜllleuten let this stand ice-cold and that’s right.

Conversely, I often throw something into the rest of the garbage, which is not necessarily pure: it can be organic waste, but also plastic. But rather rare.

We’re here to have a residual dump ton. We have to pay them if we use them.

I have so little garbage that the ton never gets full, but I can’t share it with neighbors.

With me, there’s pretty much everything that belongs in there – if it’s not from volume/weight peanuts like crown corks of a bottle….

everything I think can be recycled. All plastics, all small electrical appliances. I haven’t had the rest of my stuff for a long time. Only “brown”, “yellow” and “blue”.
