Alone in a club in San Francisco?

I'm in my early 20s and I'm flying to San Francisco alone soon. I wanted to go to a club one evening. Do you think that's a good idea in general, and I always hear that Americans are open-minded, so I'm sure they'll approach me there?

So I think that in San Francisco, people should be particularly open. The city is considered a “queer” capital of the USA and the hippie movement was created in Haight-Ashbury. Have fun there! 😉

Yeah, that’s a good idea. It is one of the things that you do as a young person on reuses to get in touch with others.
San Fran is very suitable for this. There are many Coloured People who are very contact-loving and will welcome you enthusiastically and be full of talk.

What do you think?

It’s not the whole club staring at the entrance and seeing who’s coming in.

Everybody talks to everyone.

You won’t be lucky. Clubs serve alcohol, and then you can’t ‘clean with 20, because alcohol is only allowed on 21. This is usually checked at the entrance.

That’s right.

Yeah, you can do it. Pick up a club where you meet like-minded people. And you should have enough money, clubbing in SF is expensive.

But at the beginning of 20 is not 20 years and 3 days, but 21, 22, 23 😉

Nope. There’s nothing under 21. If you had to wait until 21st year of age. ID checks at each entrance.

Are there signs? Born before July 9th 2002? We’re sorry. Please come back after having celebrated your 21st birthday. Don’t ask. Get a smile, no more. And they think… “oh no, another european who doesn’t get it.”

Well, if you’re 21, what can you stop?
