In my opinion, both are correct without any form being ‘more correct’ or the like.

As an example, I take the usual “a cup of cold coffee” and “a cup of cold coffee”. In the first case, “cold coffee” is a so-called Apposition to “pot” – and Appositions are in the same case as the word to which they relate. In the second case, “cold coffee” is a genitive attribute to “casse”, more precisely a partitiver genitive.

It’s similar to your example.

There’s who? Several [accousative] such films [also rechargeable]. or several [accusative] of such films [partitiver genitive].

The second is definitely correct.

The first occurs in everyday German, but does not sound good. It is not good because the meaning of the words “solche” and “multiple” is too similar, especially if they are still in the same case. It’s overdetermined. (But don’t make sure my explanation is good)

Note: In the first sentence there are nominatives, no battery

Just replace “solve” by “this”. The alternative would be:

“There are several of these films” and this is obviously wrong.
