Akku Saugwischer fängt an zu qualmen beim Laden?
Liebe Leute,
ich hatte 2-3 Jahre einen Akku Saugwischer einer bekannten deutschen Firma mit dem ich bisher Recht zufrieden war
Nun vor 2 Wochen wollte ich ihn mal wieder benutzen aber vorher noch voll aufladen.
Ich steckte das Netzteil an zum Laden und ging Müll wegbringen und Getränke aus dem Keller holen.
Als ich wieder in meine Wohnung kam qualmte das Gerät oben hinten heraus.Da wo die ganze Elektronik sitzt und der Motor.
Ich nahm das ganze Teil und schmiss es aus dem Fenster auf den Hof um eine Brandgefahr zu vermeiden.
Die ganze Wohnung stank noch tagelang nach verbranntem Kunststoff und meine gesamte Kleidung im der Garderobe im Flur wo das Gerät stand müsste gereinigt werden weil alles stank .
Ich habe das Gerät immer Vorschriftsmässig behandelt und kann mir nicht erklären wie so etwas passieren kann.
Habe von Elektronik keine Ahnung aber auch wenn das Gerät trotz deutscher Firma wahrscheinlich nicht mehr in Deutschland hergestellt wird darf so etwas doch nicht passieren .Wenn ein Markenhersteller seinen Namen dafür hergibt(auch wenn es nicht sehr Hochpreisig war- ich glaube um die 300 Euro)wird es doch trotzdem nach deutschem Sicherheitskriterien hergestellt.
Ich habe das Gerät nächsten Tag nachdem die Brandgefahr vorüber war noch behalten.
Ich möchte mir nicht ausmalen was passiert wäre wenn ich nicht nur 10 Minuten weg gewesen wäre sondern deutlich länger.
Die Garantie ist nach 2 Jahren abgelaufen aber was würdet ihr machen?

Probably the battery was deep-discharged. Normally, a protective component should ensure that the battery can no longer be charged. The device is then no longer usable (unless you exchange the battery), but also does not represent a danger. This protection seems to have not worked here.
Just call the manufacturer and report that you are very dissatisfied with the experience. Maybe they’ll make you a good offer. I’m sure they don’t want that shit anymore.
Ok this helps me.I actually didn’t use it about 2-3 weeks before the store.But the opinion that the battery was not completely empty. However, I am not 100 percent secure.

Well, after only 2-3 weeks of non-use, a complete deep discharge is actually rather unusual. I thought it was a longer time without charging (months, years). In any case, the manufacturer should understand that you are not so enthusiastic when the thing is used in the bud.
Yes, I will inform him of this factually, friendly but also very clearly.Is it annoying if a device is broken a few months after warranty and additionally causes damage to the apartment.What could have happened if I hadn’t been home in a timely manner.I expect at least a very iconic occurrence regarding a new acquisition of a device.
