Battery iPhone 15?

Hello, I have an iPhone 15 pro and I noticed that the battery level is now only at 95% and I have only had the phone since the beginning of the year. How can that be? I never charge my phone fully, but usually only to 80%. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

So I have beaten my old iPhone battery when the phone under the front pane has heated so strongly when navigating that it had to shut down.

What I want to say with this is: batteries are wear parts, but how much wear can be influenced in part.

Many manufacturers first install batteries that are slightly above the desired capacity, so the battery is 100 or 99% at all for so long, the point at which the real capacity is below the setpoint is exceeded for the first time, as it is possible to reduce once a month. Why: Well, if the device is only sold 12 months after manufacture, then there should still be 100% battery status, otherwise the customers will run directly into the place.

Of course, there is also scattering in production and there can actually be a not as great battery in your phone that ages faster than it would be normal. Doesn’t know if Apple has a limit value, so that the battery still has to remain over 80% or so, and if not exchanged for free.

Battery care means, above all, neither too hot nor too cold to charge and unload (Li-Akkus feel at room temperature and something about it most comfortable). Putting cell phone in the sun is just as taboo as on cold days on the platform (where the system itself warms up, but it is not enough at -10°C).

Is quite normal, batteries use time. My maximum capacity is only 92% – my phone is also slightly older than yours.

It’s normal after half a year.

A battery holds about 500 charges, which means about 80%.
