“Cool” are both depending on the setting of the air condition 😉

And the cabin equipment sets the airline. Although manufacturers also offer a so-called “generic aircraft” where they provide standard equipment, almost every airline makes their own thing.

Lufthansa has seats from a manufacturer other than British Airways and United other than Turkish Airlines.

Upholstery and angle of inclination can vary as well as seat width, angle of inclination and seating distance by a few centimeters.

And safety belts and ovens can also be from other companies. There is therefore no “good” or “bad” or “cool” or “uncool”, possibly. for seats only more or less comfortable, but this is subjective.

There’s nothing. Both are narrow fuselage aircraft (or standard fuselage aircraft, the term is narrow fuselage, since there are large fuselage aircraft, that is since the 70s) and about the same size. What you get from the flight is the same. To be exact: Even with large-hull aircraft you don’t notice so much difference. Only turboprops like Dash-8 or ATR can be seen in the noise.

The interior is heavily dependent on the airline and the booked class. comparing a business-Only A320 from Qatar Airways (can be booked for a lot of money from London to Doha) with an Ryanair-737 in cattle transporter pack density would be really unfair. You get what you pay for. The more people in there, the cheaper the ticket.

How far the seats are apart, whether there are boarding entertainment… all depends on the airline. The short distances, whether Lufthansa, Germanwings/Eurowings, Airberlin, Iberia, Aer Lingus… don’t give up much. Seats okay, Bordentertainment doesn’t need it on such short distances (just exciting I find the new Eurowings system via WLAN, but movies are paid and sewn thinly). Also with the Asians I was already on the go (Air Asia, Tiger Air, Malaysia, Cebu). It’s all right. Whether 737 or A320. Only Ryanair is a special experience in terms of proximity to fellow travellers and their seats and the special type of on-board entertainment (selling the loud fanfare when the flight arrives on time)

Nominal values

  • The A350 is very quiet and very confident even in turbulence. But even this is just as spacious as the airline wants it. Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific are quite groundbreaking.
  • The Dreamliner (787), just like the old DC8, which is no longer flying in passenger mode, has an electric air conditioning system with electric air compression instead of tap air from the engines. Some claim that the air would actually be better (but what is a rumor, as the bleeding air always comes from the clean secondary stream and is filtered again)
  • In some airlines, the 737 is being retrofitted with the aerodynamically more efficient and thus sprit-saving Split Scimitar Winglets, which should be for the 737-Max series, which has a certain optical coolness factor.
  • Trijets like the DC10/MD11, usually only flying in cargo mode, or the L1011 TriStar, which has now disappeared completely from the image area, are the most elegant thing that the jet age has produced for me.
  • With a historical propeller machine (DC3, L1049 Super Constellation, Ju52), gaaaaaaaaaaal is probably different from modern turboprops and jets;-) but at most it is still a round flight (the Breitling Super Constellation is also on my To-Do list).

Both have no real coolness factor. Similar to microwaves or hairdryers. Or what do you understand under “cool”?

This does not depend on the aircraft type, but how the airline designes the interior. And what class you’re flying. Depending on the one or the other aircraft type can be “cooler”.

Hi.

There’s nothing better than Airbus.

Dummer Comment: “This is how the cockpit section and the front hull are created in Méaulte and Saint-Nazaire. The altar rudders are created in Getafe near Madrid, in Broughton the wings, in Stade the side rudders and in Hamburg different hull sections are made.” – Wikipedia

Germany makes a few sheet metal forgings, this is all;-) sheet metal bending, drilling, screwing, gluing – all centuries-old techniques.

The “brain” of Airbus is now Toulouse.

The superior is that all parts from all participating countries really fit together and surrender a whole aircraft.

Both have their fans and both certainly their advantages.

Airbus is, however, much more sprit-saving, and therefore more environmentally friendly. The same applies to the volume. Airbus models are quieter than the competition (the same applies also on long distance, where the A350 has now replaced the A380 in quiet)
