Airbag fault in car?

Hello

I drive a VW. Yesterday, while I was steering, the inside of the steering wheel cracked, and the display on the front panel said "Airbag Error," and the light stays on constantly.

Can I drive it for now? Until I get to the repair shop, or is it possible that the airbag will pop up while I'm driving? That's what I'm most afraid of.

Thanks in advance! 🙂

YES you can drive – that sounds like the slip ring (or how the part is absolutely right there) –

No he can’t go up – so you don’t need to make a head ( grins)

but also exactly this is your problem – where you should watch the days when you drive to the workshop.

because he doesn’t get up, he won’t get up in an accident.

Only because of the warning light, the airbag does not release.

This control light suggests that there is a contact problem on the steering wheel.

Probably one of the slip rings gave up the mind.

You shouldn’t take the thing on the easy shoulder and drive to the workshop in a timely manner.

Yes it can be that comes to you the airbag but the probability is very low. I Personally wouldn’t be afraid.
