Employer simply changes salary after job interview?

Good Morning,

I just need some opinions on the following situation:

I've been job hunting for a few months now. The last interview went pretty well overall, but the two people I spoke to (HR staff, boss) seemed quite desperate, as they seemed to need to fill the position urgently. I've already gained some work experience in the same field and also during the application process. When the question of salary came up, I mentioned my figure, and it was accepted without hesitation.

Now I've received the contract, and they've assigned me a pay scale that's significantly lower than what I mentioned during the interview. I'm quite confused. When I wrote to HR, I only received an automated response. The relevant department (it's not that big) won't be back in the office until I'm supposed to come in to sign.

What can I do now?

I don't want to go there for nothing if it's clear beforehand that I won't sign it.

Then, by email, you should announce that you need to present the date for signature, as you still have open questions that cannot be resolved before the entire department is out.

Well, there’s something in the contract, not what’s supposed to be oral before.

Many employers promise to a (orally) blue from heaven, when you have only signed, you are the depp of service.

Therefore, do not sign. Write back and point out that a “mistake” occurred and ask for correction. Don’t come, they just wanted to fuck you.

I would like to point out the company’s mistakes in the contract and see how they react.

In general, this company would then be allowed to get back to me in terms of job selection. Such an error in a contract of employment does not seem serious.

Is there much other options than saying that there is a mistake in the documents and that they should send the corrected version?

If necessary, you can add the indication that the date for signing is falling into the water if you do not have the agreed contract by then.

I’d like to leave that to you. Someone who has already acted in vain in the application procedure usually flies out.

There’s a nice hint.

I have no idea what you mean.

You wrote the email so you’re out. This is the problem of the company if your email does not read in time. Normally everyone has a holiday representation or at least someone who flies the mails.
