Afraid of failing at a mini-job?

I want to do a part-time job to earn some extra money. However, I'm afraid I won't be good enough and I'll make mistakes.

Do you have any tips on how I should deal with this?

I am a rather quiet person and do relatively well at school

Just remember that they are at least as grateful for a motivated employee as you are for a job. You are quiet and conscientious – best conditions to create the job. And mistakes happen to everyone. This is to be avoided as far as possible, but also, if appropriate, not catastrophic; you’re not going to do an open heart surgery.

If they see that you are motivated and want to pack up half the rent at many superiors in the minijob area. You shouldn’t worry about it. Apart from that, it’s a minijob. If it doesn’t work well, there are still 10,000 other free minijobs out there. Don’t make yourself so much pressure:)

You learn from mistakes. At my first mini-job, in a cafe, I dropped half a cake. That was at the beginning, no one was mad and otherwise I always worked well. When I couldn’t work there anymore, I even got flowers. What I want to say, no one expects you to be perfect and even if it seems bad at the moment, it’s actually half as wild

Don’t panic.

It’ll work. You need a little confidence.
