Advent calendar if you are over 18?

My boyfriend (who is a victim of brands and fashion) said of the Advent calendar with the over-18 quote: "That really shows how stuck-in-the-way you are." And that it was cringe-worthy and childish to buy one.

When I replied that it's just tradition, all I got was: "That's sad."

I'll keep my opinion and don't care much about his, but I'd be interested to hear what others have to say.

for me, Advent calendars simply belong to the pre-Christmas season. I buy one every year and also regularly give away those (which are clearly U18, and they also donated).

No one has to find an Advent calendar good, but I find it sad if your friend has no understanding of it, even if adults use an Advent calendar.

Advent calendars have no age limit for me. Know a lot of people who are Ü18 and still have an Advent calendar. I think it’s really nice if you look forward to calendars!!

Sure, my whisky advent calendar for 200€ is actually only for children. That I bought this… In some people you can just shake your head.

I am very clear about 18 and I always buy one, never get the cheapest; and I want my daughter (also about 18) to always get one;

that gives me memories of my childhood and is so beautiful

I find the pre-Christmas time has no age limit just as little as an Advent calendar. Besides, the tradition and if your friend doesn’t see that it’s just sad…

What is not traceable to Lego? There are no basic sets for adults and collectors.

So you couldn’t have figured it out as a child? Then the mention is not quite obvious to me, but now. It’s not a subject.

I’ve never met a person who doesn’t like clamping blocks. You’re a novel for me. 🫣

Since my childhood I have always had an Advent calendar, at the moment it is filled with tasty chocolates and from tomorrow we can open the doors.

Hmmmm…

By the way, I am W 63 years old.
