Hello
I would like to add my own .flac files to Apple Music so that they are in my library.
I have a MacBook with the latest update. When I go to the Apple Music app, I can select a file under File > Import and click "Open," but nothing happens. I've tried several times and waited, but it doesn't appear under "Recently Added."
When I click "Open," nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be?

The music – app cannot reproduce flac and therefore cannot import. Convert the file to mp3 or better in Apple Lossless or AAC, then it goes. The flac can be played with other players like VLC.

What did you convert the FLAC files?
