Active sub to active speaker?

Good morning,

So, I want to connect my new active speakers from The Box Pro DSP 115 to my active auna subwoofer from an earlier set. How do I do this, and with which cable? Can I simply connect the new speakers using the appropriate cable from the speaker outputs on the old subwoofer, where the old speakers from the set used to be, or do I need a separate mixer? If so, how do I connect it, and what kind of mixer would I need?

These are the connections of my new speakers

This is the back of my old sub

Hello!

You can attach both the fullrange box “the box pro DSP 115” to the AUNA Pro “Cube 1812 2.1 Active PA Set” and vice versa. So always loop through the signal and thus supply the respective other box.

The “The Box” box has an AUX + XLR/Klinke input and an “XLR” output.

The “AUNA” box has a catch & Cinch input (Line, Aux) + AUX output.

Now it’s important how you already control the boxes or which cables you already have. As a rule, you can get out of the mixer fittingly or use Y-cable or appropriate distributors.

How do you control the boxes?

You could now “clean” the Auna system via Line Out (Cinch) into the “TheBox” at AUX or Klinke/XLR. In this respect, either an adapter cable A [Cinch cable (plug) Stereo on 3.5mm cable (plug) Stereo] or adapter cable B [Cinch cable (plug) Stereo on 6.35mm cable (plug) or XLR (plug)]. Since it is an XLR-KlinkenBUCHSE, you logically need an XLR or jack plug.

Adapter cable A:

Adapter cable B: variant 1

Adapter cable B: variant 2

Note in “Adapter cable B” and variants 1+2 that symmetrical signal paths become asymmetrical when plugged in asymmetrical cables.
Various cables already cost something. I would therefore go/select the simple asymmetrical and cheaper way “Adapter cable A”. Thus from the AUNA via Cinch-Out (Line) out and in the top of the Fullrange box “TheBox” via 3.5mm jack plug.

So, you can do it differently or loop the signal from the “TheBox” box to the “Auna” box as follows.

The “TheBox” box has a Line XLR output. The “Auna” box has a 3.5mm jack input as well as a LINE/Aux input.

Now you could use an XLR cable (XLR socket on 3.5mm jack or XLR socket on Cinch plug) buy.

Option 1: XLR jack > 3,5mm jack plug

Option 2: XLR socket > Cinch connector

So, I hope you can do something about it and I didn’t write too confusing and much.
