Pull-off means you lose a part of the train while driving. For whatever reason. This triggers a quick braking (fast brake loop), earlier that the main air line had a loss of pressure because it was then open. Today it works electrically. The switch is not a switch but a probe. This is required in the case of a tension separation or after the mechanical uncoupling.

As the name says, he acknowledges the Zg2 and closes the safety loop.

Zg1 is the peak signal (front of the train). Zg2 is the pull-fit signal, i.e. the tail lights.
