Acetone as a fuel?

Hello dear experts,

I'm currently having a little ritual where I want to burn some paper, but it just won't burn… I don't have any high-proof alcohol, only acetone. Can I use that as fuel, or will I just burn the whole place down?

Greetings from someone who dropped chemistry in 10th grade

Acetone burns excellently, it is even more flammable and much more volatile than ethanol. boiling point 56° C. over 78° C.

Why use an additional fuel? Paper should also burn like this…

What kind of paper do you use?

Then it's not a normal paper, it's coated. Just buy yourself a simple notebook and do it. Then you don't heat the beautiful printer paper.
