AC box of a PV system, what function?
Perhaps someone can tell me what the function of an AC box is in a photovoltaic system. I've never understood what the AC box's functions are. I've only been told that it's the brain of the entire system, but how exactly can I understand that? About me: I'm an electronics engineer and want to deepen and expand my knowledge.
An AC Box is a protective device that protects against overvoltage.
That’s the inverter. The PV panels generate direct voltage (DC) and the AC Box makes an alternating voltage so that they can be fed into the existing power grid.
The AC Box does not make an alternating voltage. That’s not the inverter. The inverter is the inverter, the AC-Box is a separate device
Is the AC Box meant by the inverters? Or is the tracker that always determines the best power point of the modules?
the AC box comes after the inverter if I remember it correctly
