Withdrawal symptoms from Mirtazapine to sleep?

Hello everyone,

I suffer from depression with anxiety.

I take escitalopram as an antidepressant and have been given mirtazapine 7.5mg to help me sleep for almost 8 weeks.

Last Thursday, I stopped taking mirtazapine. Since then, I've been waking up in the morning feeling very restless, anxious, and brooding, as well as nauseous in the morning. This all subsides over the course of the day.

My doctor said there are no withdrawal symptoms when taking Mirtazapine for sleep, but my aunt said she didn't feel well afterward either.

Now the question is, are these withdrawal symptoms or did the mirtazapine work so well in the morning that it simply reduced my current symptoms and calmed me down?

I would be very interested in your experiences.

Of course, Mirtazapin can also lead to absorptive symptoms, as the doctor is ill-informed. Now it says, hold and move.
