Impression with fixed braces?
heyy
I went to my orthodontist today and was told that an impression like this would have to be taken at my next appointment… (I have fixed braces)
My question is whether it hurts a lot or whether it's generally different than without…
I'm so sensitive and get a terrible gag reflex every time…
I would appreciate it if someone could give me an honest answer, maybe even an orthodontist ππ«ΆπΌ
Thank you very much in advance π
No, it doesn’t hurt.
I can’t assess your vulnerability, but it doesn’t come in backwards, it only affects your teeth. So it only comes to the rearmost edge of your baking teeth.
It’s just a form where a soft mass is in it. You just bite it and then you wait a minute and it’s taken out. Ready.
how I know, but always get a spicy
There’s nothing wrong with firm chips than without. Works as well.
That’s all we can tell you.
No, I didn’t mean it. I said I can’t assess your vulnerability.
Well, excuse the question you mean there is no spicy what should I do if it hurts me
It doesn’t hurt and is over quickly.
Hello Lillifee,
the process is actually the same, with the difference that a precision impression material is probably applied to the brackets before the spoon comes into the mouth.
Tell the helper you have a problem with it. She will make sure that the spoon has the right size, make her anyway, and that is not too much impression material in the spoon, make her eh and she will try to distract you. The last time it worked.
Maybe your pine orthopedic has bought an oral scanner until then, then it goes without problems π
Good luck!
Karliename
the last time my favorite helper was there, which is totally nice and always takes me the fear (in extremely anxious about teeth, even the dentist I have extreme fear), but this day has no layer or sits at the reception…
I’ll also be done at the next appointment and I’ll also wonder how the fixed brace works
