When do you become addicted to cigarettes?

Hi, I'm 12 and I smoked a cigarette for the first time today, but I'm wondering at what point one becomes addicted to these things? And especially how do people become addicted when they taste so disgusting, the first and last time I smoked one!!

It is different from human to human, but it goes relatively fast until you are dependent. the CAN be ready after a handful of tilting that you have more and more “Lusr” on still one, others can easily stop after weeks. You shouldn’t try it.

Not everyone finds the “taste” (actually they have no one) disgusting and they get used to it.

I hope you listen to your message “last time”

I hope you stay with your opinion.

This one cigarette could have been too much. People react individually, but even the smoke of a single cigarette can be sufficient to trigger first withdrawal symptoms.

The cigarettes have such an extreme dependence potential is artificially brought about. Nicotine usually does not lead to dependencies. Only the artificial intervention in the mode of action of nicotine leads to this result. For this, hundreds of additives and some of their interactions are responsible.

Differences, depends on what you smoke, but if you smoke regularly, then it does not take too long for some to become dependent. That’s why it’s best to leave. I also know people who smoke 5 times at the beginning of a month or so because of nicotine flashes, but more not because the tolerance increases quickly and the flash does not occur anymore.

but just fingers away

There is no general answer to your question. One of them will be addicted sooner, the other later.

You’re still a kid and you’re going to puberty. How should your body and your brain develop healthy and normal if you feed them poison? Cigarettes can affect growth and development.

Let it go! You’re hurting yourself!

Is this the trend that children already smoke?

The first time, brain cells can change so that a addiction is created. I said the first time, “This is so disgusting, I never do it again!” and even broke after that. And then I thought a few days later, “Mh on the other hand, the nicotine flash was somehow crassed I do it again” and then went quite fast and I smoked every day and got used to the taste and even found it no longer bad. Now I stopped after 8 months, but it was very difficult so best not to start at all.

The nicotine will automatically pull you to the next tip. Once the airways are deteriorated, you will no longer get away because the tar itself prevents strong cough (maybe chemicals have been added). It is also therefore difficult to stop later than as long as the tar in the airways absolutely needed a tilting regularly.

You’ll get a craving after some time. This can come despite bad taste and disgust. Also with some and with others not (for example with me). Then they smoke “just one more” and then one more and so on.

And so this goes on with denial until they reach 30 pieces a day:)

Take a few weeks.

Nicotine makes very fast dependent on alcohol. But the withdrawal is a lot easier.

When you smoke again and again, you become more sober with every cigarette 🙂
