I took the pill one or two days before ovulation. I know this shifts my cycle and might delay my period. I was supposed to get my period today, but I didn't. Can I still take a pregnancy test to be sure?

Hey! Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich während meiner letzten Zyklen nur noch sehr sehr dunkel geblutet habe, bis so gut wie schwarz. Auch immer recht dickflüssig. The pill after that is not a miracle agent and if an egg has been fertilized, then it is too late for taking.
You can and should do a pregnancy test according to instructions.
The fact that you didn’t get your period is not a sign at first, because it would usually not happen in most cases anyway after taking the pill afterwards.

But if you can wait 5 days because the pill then shifts your ovulation by about 5 days. -> if your period has not ceased in the meantime.
