It depends on the outside temperatures.

At 30 degrees last year, I put the chicks on the meadow for 3 days. Of course in a safe enclosure.

In case of doubt cover with plan. But be careful, the animals still have to get air and they must not be boiled in the bright sun.

You can also provide a heat plate on the meadow, then the chicks can get out very early.

It is important that the chicks do not freeze or get wet.

If it’s warm enough, you can let them out if everyone’s slipped and can walk.
