A4 B6 radio gets quiet on its own and slowly gets louder?
Hello, in my 2003 A4 with an Audi Concert, the radio (whether CD changer or FM) goes completely silent while driving and then slowly gets louder again. This lasts up to two minutes and is extremely annoying. It's independent of speed, as it also happens at the same speed with cruise control. Is the radio defective? Is this a "function"?
Yes, this is an extra function! Speed-dependent volume control. If, however, the radio becomes louder with increasing speed and ambient noise. And if you get slower and also the noises less, it should be quieter.
Aaaber, this function can also be deactivated
How can I disable that? Because it just happens at the same speed when I turn the radio loud
Control all current connections, maybe there’s a bad connection somewhere.
Checking the battery can be weak the good.
How do I check the connections best?
Battery shouldn’t care if I drive 100+ or not?
nee doesn’t care if, for example, the light engine doesn’t load the battery is weak. to check, you need a measuring instrument and a bit of an idea of matter.
Just listen to the family — or to the circle of friends, usually someone finds it.
If the battery were so weak that the radio will fail, the start of the engine would not have been possible.
Does the device already have an automatic volume reduction with incoming phone calls?
Device didn’t even have series Bluetooth/USB
I suspect a defective soldering site in the device.
Shouldn’t the fault appear constant or detectable?
A solder joint with bad contact leads to a fault due to vibrations. Or temperature fluctuations. Or both. It’s uncalculable.
Detections can be made by examining the soldering points with the magnifying glass.
