Yamaha DT 125: a friend of mine has the one and I was allowed to try, he thinks the swallows quite a lot (sprit and oil) but she’s really fun to drive and from that 9k RPM the again (perspectively seen) dresses quite nicely.

The KTM EXC 125 where I heard that the EXC has hardly any compression, which should make sure that you can’t choke it so easily.

And I think the Betas are really cool.

Another of Yamaha who should be still good is the WR125X

As far as I know you can allow a KTM EXC for the road in Austria, but you have to adjust it to meet the legal requirements. These include things like flashers, mirrors and an approved exhaust that meets the exhaust gas standards. Not all models are immediately roadworthy, so before buying, you should check whether the necessary modifications are/are available. So it’s possible for me to take the EXC in. My knowledge is only limited here because I drive a four-stroke road machine. Better so you give the TUV job a round call to know more closely.

Depends on your way. At nem 4er you don’t have the problem with the oil mixture, clearly my MT 125 also eats oil but by far not as much as the DT from my friend, 2er are louder and have more wear as they get hot faster. But if you want to make more stunts, they are ideal because you are the oil In gasoline, for example, with longer wheelies, the 4 tacter gets no more oil and bumm engine damage.

I went the 4 clock route as I wanted to drive more, maintenance work and cheaper.

Beta RR 125 2T, Sherco 125 2T or the EXC, where the Beta and Sherco have a road permit (throttled).

Throat probably like most 125ccm machines, i.e. about 100-115kmh. Open they have more performance than the A1 driving licence allows, but they are really good off
