Would that be a good combination?

Hey, I just finished my high school diploma and want to study to become a teacher. I've already decided on the type of school I'll be studying: vocational school teaching (Berufskolleg). One subject is certain: biology, and the other isn't yet decided. I'm very undecided because I don't know whether I should take German or chemistry as my second subject. According to forecasts, there will be a severe shortage of vocational colleges by 2045.

What would you advise me?

If you enjoy both, I would always choose chemistry. It's much less time-consuming in terms of marking. In German, you still have to read a lot of essays.
